The Women who Walk, group one, meet on the Merri Creek – near Heidleberg Road on Wednesdays.

Meet up at the tables close to where the footpath comes up from under the road. If you are walking down the creek from the Northcote end, come under the bridge, walk up and you will see the picnic tables by the water tap.

The street closest – apart from Heidleberg Rd, is Spensley St. From Clifton Hill Station walk straight up Spensley St onto the creek parklands, the picnic tables are almost in front of you.

We meet at 10.00 am on Wednesdays and do a short walk of 2.5 ks down to the bridge over the creek at Roseneath Street and back up through Yarra Bend Park to Heidleberg Rd and round to our starting point.

Ir’s a pleasant walk without high gradients. Wear comfy shoes. Bring a red scarf or headband if possible.
