Some issues can be solved from the Prime Minister’s desk – but others require deeper change, from the grassroots up. Reconciliation will take a nation. It takes all of us reaching out to our friends and making new ones. It takes not only a change of policy, or an apology, but a change of culture.

On the evening of April 29, Red Hats on the Yarra will be joining hundreds of other groups across the country holding local gatherings.

Our GetTogether will be part of a huge national movement.

We want a brighter future for all Australians, Indigenous and non-Indigenous, to grow. Simultaneously on April 29th, in every corner of nation, people like you and me will be meeting to begin a conversation that will turn reconciliation into reconcili-action – real people, from all backgrounds; each conversation a stitch in our rich national tapestry.
