What do the Red Hatters get up to?

Our chapter, Red Hats of the Yarra has a couple of rules and guidelines. If you wish to join us, please read them through

Primarily, we get together for fun over lunch. We may attend a theatrical production or a movie on the cheaper days. We’re open to all sorts of excursions and outings.

But we aren’t here just for fun, we make ourselves heard as a positive voice in our community.

• Within our community we support social justice for women.
• With each other, we enjoy positive interaction, we leave negativity at home.

Our Rules

1. To live Life to the fullest and enjoy it.

2. To laugh, each and every day, as much as we possibly can

3. To support each other in our Life Experiences

4. To age gracefully without losing our social conscience

5. To meet at least monthly for gatherings or events

6. To wear, as much as possible, our hats and colours to our gatherings, functions and events, and to wear them with pride.

Organising of events and lunches takes time and effort. If we all chip in for a yearly membership our events can be organised with no fuss and this site is paid for.

The cost of dues is only $10 a year.
